Novel way to help find faith in library |

A LIBRARY has come up with a novel idea they are offering the loan of a spiritual adviser.
For the next fortnight not only will you be able to borrow, books, CDs or DVDs from Mearns Library, you can also borrow' a member of East Renfrewshire Faith Forum.
This pilot project came about as a suggestion by the Scottish Interfaith Council who had heard of a similar project which was carried out in Australian libraries.

Christians, Muslims pledge to seek common ground |

A wide range of Christian theologians and leaders have endorsed a document calling for increased efforts to work with Muslims for peace and justice. The move responds to an earlier call from Muslim leaders seeking common ground.

A new movement called the Global Peace Initiative is being launched in America Aug. 9 on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
